Installation Guides

Important Safety Information

  • Locate hazards before drilling. Check for electrical wiring, plumbing, and gas lines behind your mounting surface. Contact with these can result in serious injury or death.
  • Confirm wall capacity. Your mounting surface must support the combined weight of the Alpinrack and your equipment (approximately 15 lbs).
  • Select a safe mounting location. Avoid installing directly above high-traffic areas, seating, or work surfaces.

Ski Alpinrack

This guide walks you through installing the Ski Alpinrack safely and correctly. Read all steps before starting.

What's Included

  • 3 wall-mounted components (left, middle, right)
  • 6 wall anchors
  • 6 screws
  • 2 ski brake retainer bands (one per ski)

You'll need: drill with phillips head bit (or screwdriver), level, pencil, tape measure, and a stud finder.

Before You Start

  • Check for studs. Mark the location of studs on the wall you plan on mounting to.
  • Secure ski brakes. Lay your skis flat on the ground and press the brake lever down. Wrap a rubber band (provided) around one ski brake arm, over the binding, and back around the second ski brake arm to secure.

Note: Skis hang separately, with the base facing the wall and bindings facing out.

Step 1: Set Width & Tooth Position

  • Place the three mount components on the ground so that the teeth interlock, setting the width of each ski slot. This width should be roughly to the width of your skis at the point you want them held.
  • Place your skis into the slots and slide them down until the tapered edges naturally catch and support each ski.
  • Adjust the tooth position until the fit looks right, and take note of how many teeth are engaged. This locks in your spacing.

Step 2: Mark the Wall

  • Hold the middle component against the wall at your desired height, taking into account the length of your skis with respect to the floor. One of the screw holes should be aligned with the previously marked stud location if possible.
  • Use a level to ensure it's straight. Mark the screw holes.

Step 3: Drill & Install Anchors

  • If mounting on to drywall, screw the provided self-drilling drywall anchor into the wall at the marked location. Ensure the anchor is screwed in fully flush with the wall prior to proceeding.
  • If mounting into a stud, drill a ⅛" pilot hole at the marked location.

Step 4: Mount the Middle Component

  • Secure the middle component into place with two screws.

Step 5: Mark & Mount Outer Components

  • Install the outer components in place at the tooth engagement position you determined previously. Ensure they are fully engaged such that the top edges of all components are aligned.
  • Mark the screw holes as before.
  • Mount the outer components using two screws each.

Step 6: Hang Skis

  • Slide each ski into the mount.
  • Confirm both skis are evenly supported.

Final Check

  • Gently tug on each ski.
  • Tighten screws if needed.

Note: Not responsible for damage due to installation.

Snowboard Alpinrack

This guide walks you through installing the Snowboard Alpinrack safely and correctly. Read all steps before starting.

What's Included

  • 2 wall-mounted components (left, right)
  • 6 wall anchors
  • 6 screws

You'll need: drill with phillips head bit (or screwdriver), level, pencil, tape measure, and a stud finder.

Before You Start

  • Check for studs. Mark the location of studs on the wall you plan on mounting to.

Note: Snowboard hangs with the base facing the wall and bindings facing out.

Step 1: Set Width & Tooth Position

  • Place the two mount components on the ground so that the teeth interlock, setting the width of your snowboard. This width should be roughly to the width of your snowboard at the point you want it held.
  • Place your snowboard into the slot and slide it down until the tapered edges naturally catch and support the board.
  • Adjust the tooth position until the fit looks right, and take note of how many teeth are engaged. This locks in your spacing.

Step 2: Mark the Wall

  • Hold the right-side component against the wall at your desired height, taking into account the length of your board with respect to the floor. If possible, align one screw hole with a stud location for maximum strength.

Step 4: Mount the Right-Side Component

  • Secure the right-side component into place with three screws.

Step 5: Mark & Mount the Left-Side Component

  • Position the left-side component at the tooth engagement position you determined previously. Ensure the component is fully engaged such that the top edges are aligned.
  • Mark the screw holes as before.
  • Mount the left-side component using three screws.

Step 6: Hang Snowboard

  • Slide your snowboard into the mount.
  • Confirm board is evenly supported.

Final Check

  • Gently tug on the board.
  • Tighten screws if needed.

Note: Not responsible for damage due to installation.
